ESTVA: TV & DECODER WHOLESALE TO RETAIL TRANSFER PROCESS Controlled Distribution Process for Locally Sourced TVs and Decoders

The Wholesale Transfer Permit (WTP) system regulates the movement of locally sourced televisions and decoders from registered wholesalers to registered retailers.

The system ensures:

  • Complete product traceability
  • Compliance with ESTVA regulations
  • Prevention of duplicate permit fees
  • Fair treatment of retailers
  • Accurate national stock reporting

Who Should Use This Service?

This process applies to:

  • TV Importers
  • TV & Decoder Wholesalers
  • Registered Retailers

How It Works:

  1. Import & RegistrationThe wholesaler imports TVs or decoders using an ESTVA Import Permit and registers the stock.
  2. Retailer Order – A registered retailer places an order with the wholesaler.
  3. Wholesale Transfer Permit (WTP) – The wholesaler issues a WTP before releasing the stock.
  4. Submit to ESTVA – The WTP is submitted to ESTVA within 48 hours.
  5. Retail Sale & Reporting – The retailer records sales and submits monthly reports to ESTVA.
  6. Email the scanned form and other essential documents (see list below) to tvlicence@eswatinitv.co.sz.
